I would like to be a teacher!

I would like to be a teacher. I saw a TV commercial some time ago, a child said he wanted to grow up to be a teacher. "Wouldn't you rather be a Doctor or a Lawyer?" "No!"-he said, "where would Doctor's and Lawyer's come from if not from teachers!" My elder brother is a teacher and he quotes me an old saying; "Those that can, do. Those that can't, teach! Those that can't teach, criticize!" I have done all I can to make this world a better place, now I think it is time for me to teach other's what I CAN DO! I am still interested in learning and the learning process. I have learned how to learn and now I wish to teach other's this valuable skill of learning. It is not about numbers or books, but rather it is learning about oneself! When I find myself and I am gathering my thoughts for the day, that is when I am most at peace.
May you make your dreams come true!

Quitting Cigarettes....

Do not try this at home, I am a professional! Quitter's never win. I told my dad I stopped smoking and he called me a "quitter." I've heard all the jokes about quitting cigarettes and I believe I can do it this time for good. I've developed a strange reaction to the smell of cigarette smoke, it makes me gag and want to throw up! I'm tired of coughing in the morning after my early cigarette, and I don't even want to use the nicotine patch since it makes my dreams seem like nightmares! I quit once before by jogging three miles a day, so I plan on walking at least two miles a day to start. Exercize and smoking are incompatible. If only I had not joined the Air Force, I would never have started smoking. I've decided I want to breathe again, I want to Live! Wish me luck and a strong willpower.

REANIMATION!

I thought I'd re-publish this picture because it is my personal favorite.
Can you see the letters in the picture that spell out the name of my city?

WELCOME TO MY WORLD: Garfield

WELCOME TO MY WORLD: Garfield

So much for Mr. Nice Guy!

My mother lives close to my college, so I like to go to her place for lunch. Unfortunately the drug gangs have just about taken over the neighborhood. Mom lives in a busy area of Seattle and this encourages the street gang members because they think that they can blend into the crowd. One guy approached me to try to sell me some crack and instead I cracked his jaw! Of all things "I" was the one arrested for assult and battery! Such is the state of Justice in America, when one cannot defend ourselves. We need our military to be in our own cities, not in Iraq! As Us Native American's say: Get the U.S. out of North America!

Bored of school already!

It ain't ever easy going back to school when I figure I know everything already! At least I know more then my teachers do about the subject they teach. Really, I wanted to study electronics, but at this moment, this was the college and classes I could get into. Three months of this graphic design courses and with good grades I can transfer to a more desired school. I have found an interesting college; Cleveland Institute of Electronics! They are Federally accreditted and offer much more interesting classes. It is an online University, so I wouldn't actually have to move to Cleveland, Ohio! I like to draw my art as a hobby and not as a profession. When I study and draw art professionally, it makes me feel like I am prostituting my art and my faith. I feel that a career in electronics is benign enough that I won't posion the Earth Mother, or build something that can be taken over by the military in order to be used to kill people. Peace to all who read this.

Time for school.

I have been studying Russian language for my girlfriend, and also to put myself into study mode for my expected return to college. I figure I must have at least at 300 word vocabulary built up by now and lots of common phrases added to that. I recently bought the Pimsleur Langauge lessons on CD for learning conversational Russian. Listening to them, I am glad I took some time to learn a little from books. But hearing a language spoken is most important in learning the lingo. I have learned the 33 letter Russian alphabet and I can probably read better and more then I can speak. Pa Ruski, anyone?
